Hello MAS members,
See below for important Big 4 events! As mentioned in our previous email, we have two main events with PwC (Feb 8th @ 5pm) and KPMG (Feb 9th @ 5pm). Be sure to register for the PwC event if you want to attend! The Zoom link for the KPMG event is listed below. We have also included a list of Deloitte and EY events too. It is recommended to register for any event that you have an interest in as early as you can and double-check dates and times.
At the end of this email, we have also attached a few words from Surgent CPA Review about a Student Ambassador leadership opportunity. By becoming a Student Ambassador, you have the opportunity to potentially earn a full CPA Review Course Scholarship and full CMA Review Course Scholarship from Surgent. Also, stay tuned for our Surgent CPA Review Event (planned for March 9th @ 5pm) that will entail 2021 upcoming CPA Exam changes and the CPA Evolution Model.

Hello George Mason Accounting Society Members,
I wanted to share with you a fantastic opportunity to join Surgent CPA Review’s Student Ambassador leadership program where you will receive a Full CPA & CMA Review Scholarship after completing your time with them. Surgent’s leadership program offers students an opportunity to serve as a liaison between Surgent and George Mason University. You will be able to use the knowledge gained through the program to help educate your peers on what to expect when pursuing the CPA, and how to be a successful candidate. By joining Surgent’s Student Ambassador Leadership Program you earn a Full CPA Review Course Scholarship + Full CMA Review Course Scholarship in exchange for spreading the word around campus about Surgent CPA Review.
GOOD NEWS! We only need your help for about 10-15 minutes/week 😊
What does it take:
1. Help coordinate information table opportunities
2. Put Surgent in contact with the Accounting Organizations on campus (this is as simple as sending us the email of the club & informing us of any accounting networking opportunities)
3. Wear your Surgent shirt on campus a few times a semester and send us a picture!
Bonus Incentives:
1. We hold competitions and award prizes like Starbucks & Amazon/ Visa gift cards.
2. For every student enrollment you send our way, you will receive $100 gift card!
3. Receive cool swag that you can rock on campus!
4. Earn a Full CPA Review Course Scholarship + Full CMA Review Course Scholarship
Qualifications:
o Accounting major with a minimum 3.0 GPA
o Active on-campus involvement within Accounting organizations
o Sophomore, Junior, Senior (with 2 consecutive semesters left) or who is going in their Grad/Ph. D. (with 2 consecutive semesters left)
